Kim Kardashian and Ray J's sex tape 'made more than a million'

’s notorious sex tape with former boyfriend Ray J made more than a million dollars in revenue within its first six weeks of release, according to newly published financial records.

Ray J has sparked a feud with Kardashian, who he dated more than 15-years ago, and her mother and business manager by claiming Jenner oversaw its release with adult film production company Vivid Entertainment.

An email to Kardashian, purportedly from Vivid Entertainment CEO Steve Hirsch, claims the explicit tape raked in $1,424,636.63 in revenue, including $1,255,578.50, from DVD sales.

Dated April 31, 2007, the correspondence would appear to have been sent just two months after Kardashian filed a lawsuit opposing its release on February 21.

Kim and Ray J previously signed an agreement with Vivid regarding their sex tape, and following the reality star’s lawsuit, she and Ray J reluctantly agreed to release it.

Vivid’s Steve Hirsch has also openly discussed the deal in the past, calling it a ‚difficult deal to get done‘ because Kim did not want the tape out.

The tape, reportedly shot in Cabo San Lucas, was subsequently released by Vivid Entertainment on March 14, with Kardashian’s lawsuit dismissed on April 27 – just four days before she was informed of its sales figures.

The Fendi NYFW show played host to all our fave fashionistas, from Olivia Culpo to Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Moss, yet it was Kim Kardashian who stole the show, adorned in an embellished ensemble.

Sparkly, sheer, skin-tight — this maxi design has all the makings of a sartorial statement and Kim certainly did it justice teamed with a matching mini ‘Baguette‘ bag and crystal barely-there heels. Chic!

She does have stylist Dani Levi on hand, after all. We will certainly be taking inspiration for party season this Christmas. While we cannot shop the exact style, you can get inspired by exploring the collection here.

Or shop a lookalike in our carousel that will have you keeping up with Kim in no time. Take your pick from Misspap to Retrofete.
